General Questions
Is PalmGuru's palm reading based on real palmistry?
Yes. PalmGuru's AI is grounded in a knowledge base of traditional palmistry texts covering the heart line, head line, life line, fate line, mounts, and hand shapes. It uses AI vision to read your palm photo and AI language generation to write a personalized report, combining classical palmistry interpretation with modern AI.
Does PalmGuru also do Kundli, Vastu and Vedic astrology, not just palmistry?
Yes. PalmGuru generates a full Vedic Kundli (birth chart) from your date, time, and place of birth using a deterministic astronomical calculation engine — never AI guesswork — for your Ascendant, planetary positions, houses, and Vimshottari Dasha timeline. From there you get Kundli matching, daily horoscope, numerology, Tarot readings, and a full Vastu Shastra toolkit for home and office, all narrated by AI grounded in traditional texts, never invented.
Can PalmGuru help with career, marriage, money, or relationship questions?
Yes. PalmGuru offers traditional guidance on common real-life questions — career direction, marriage timing, financial themes, and relationship compatibility — drawn from your Kundli's houses and planets, plus Vastu guidance for your home or office. You can also ask AI Jyotishi any specific question directly. All guidance is traditional and reflective, never a guaranteed prediction.
Is palm reading or Vedic astrology scientifically proven?
No. Palmistry and Vedic astrology are traditional interpretive systems intended for entertainment, self-reflection, and cultural interest — not scientifically validated prediction. PalmGuru presents its readings in that spirit and does not claim medical, legal, financial, or psychological accuracy.
What information does PalmGuru need from me?
A photo of your palm is needed for a palm reading, and your date, time, and place of birth are needed for a Kundli. An email address is used for account sign-in via a one-time code. Gender is optional and only used to personalize your report.
Can I delete my PalmGuru account and data?
Yes, at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app's Settings, or by emailing sales@xigmapro.com. See our Data Deletion page for details.

Palmistry & Vedic Astrology Questions
What is Vedic astrology?
Vedic astrology, also called Jyotish or Indian astrology, is a traditional system originating in ancient India that maps planetary positions against the sidereal (star-fixed) zodiac to interpret personality, life themes, timing, and compatibility through a birth chart called a Kundli.
How is Vedic astrology different from Western astrology?
The main technical difference is the zodiac used: Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, aligned to actual star positions and adjusted by the ayanamsha, while Western astrology uses the tropical zodiac, aligned to the seasons. This means the same birth details can produce a different Moon or Sun sign in each system.
Does PalmGuru's AI calculate my Vedic astrology chart?
No. Every calculation — Ascendant, planetary positions, houses, Nakshatras, and Dasha dates — comes from a deterministic astronomical engine, never AI guesswork. AI is used only to explain what has already been calculated, grounded in classical texts.
Can AI Jyotishi answer questions using my actual chart, not a generic horoscope?
Yes. PalmGuru's AI Jyotishi reads your own calculated Palm, Kundli, Tarot, Vastu, and numerology data before answering, and only draws on the readings you've actually generated — it won't guess at details you haven't provided.
